The household laundry tablet triggers a lot of primitive instincts. It has the gleam of something such an avocado while being brightly coloured like a berry. It smells sweet and floral. It is dense yet soft. Humans respond to this sensory overload with the opposite feeling to balance their emotions.
It is natural to want to squeeze the tablet, however this installation is insatiable. It is in limbo. Akin to the nature of photography, it is a pregnant moment, waiting for a burst that will never come.
